ALLAH says in the Holy Quran:

اَفَغَیۡرَ دِیۡنِ اللّٰہِ یَبۡغُوۡنَ وَ لَہٗۤ  اَسۡلَمَ  مَنۡ فِی السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الۡاَرۡضِ طَوۡعًا وَّ کَرۡہًا وَّ اِلَیۡہِ یُرۡجَعُوۡنَ

(3.83)
Translation:-

“So is it other than the religion of Allah they desire, while to Him have submitted [all] those within the heavens and earth, willingly or by compulsion, and to Him they will be returned.”

The word Islam had been used in the Quran as a symbol for Deen that was revealed to Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) and ALLAH clarified that He will not accept from man other deen even if it was from the previous divine deens.ALLAH says in Surah Aal-e-Imran ,

verse number 853.85

Translation:-

“And whoever desires other than Islam as religion – never will it be accepted from him, and he, in the Hereafter, will be among the losers.”
Islam deals with all aspects of human life ( Belief, intellectual, moral, and practical) and this system is based on total submission to ALLAH alone and adopting all  that is authentic from the Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAW).As in the Holy Quran it is stated:

MEANING OF THE WORD “DEEN”The word Deen is used in the Arabic language to give different meanings most important of those meanings are Subjugation, Authority, Ruling and Having charge. These four meanings constitute the concept of the word “Deen” in the Quran.

ISLAMIC ORIGINS:-

Islam arose within the context of Late Antiquity. The second half of the sixth century saw political disorder in Arabia, and communication routes were no longer secure.

Religious divisions played an important role in the crisis.Judaism became the dominant religion of the Himyarite Kingdom in Yemen after about 380, while Christianity took root in the Persian Gulf. While much of Arabia remained polytheistic, in line with broader trends of the age there was yearning for a more spiritual form of religion.

Many were reluctant to convert to a foreign faith, but those faiths provided intellectual and spiritual reference points, and Jewish and Christian loanwords from Aramaic began to replace the old pagan vocabulary of Arabic throughout the peninsula.

On the eve of the Islamic era, the Quraysh was the chief tribe of Mecca and a dominant force in western Arabia.

To counter the effects of anarchy, they upheld the institution of “sacred months”( holy months) when all violence was forbidden and travel was safe. The polytheistic Kaaba shrine in Makkah  and the surrounding area was a popular pilgrimage destination, which had significant economic consequences for the city.

According to tradition, the Islamic prophet Hazrat  Muhammad (SAW)  was born in Mecca around the year 570.His family belonged to the Quraysh. When he was about forty years old he began receiving what Muslims regard as divine revelations delivered through the angel Gabriel (AS), which would later form the Quran.

These inspirations enjoined him to proclaim a strict monotheistic faith, to warn his compatriots of the impending Judgement Day, and to castigate social injustices of his city.

Muhammad’s message won over a handful of followers and was met with increasing opposition from notables of Mecca. In 622, a few years after losing protection with the death of his influential uncle Abu Talib, Muhammad migrated to the city of Yathrib (subsequently called Medina) where he was joined by his followers.

Later generations would count this event, known as the hijra, as the start of the Islamic era. After tolerating all these hardships and difficulties the followers of Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) were increasing day by day.As the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAW!) reached each and every message of Islam to each and every one by the grace of Almighty ALLAH (SWT).

When the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad SAW announced the last and sermon and He (SAW) mentioned I may not be amongst you next year but keep in touch with Quran and Sunnah.

You will be successful in this world and in hereafter as well but if you leave these two precious things, you will be distroyed in both world. After golden time period of the great Prophet Hazrat Muhammad SAW, the time of Khuafi-e-Rashidun starts which is the second golden time of all times after the great Prophet.Let’s have a brief glance over it:

 RASHIDUN CALIPHATE:-

After the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) golden time period, Hazrat Abu Bakar Sadiq (RA) became the first caliphate of Islam. He was the  closest companion of Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) and He (RA) was very much near to Prophet (SAW).

Hazrat Abu Bakr Sadiq (RA) previled Islamic laws continuously till the last moment of His regime. After Hazrat Abu Bakar Sadiq (RA) the second caliph of Islam nominated and He was The great Hazrat Umar (RA).

Hazrat Umar (RA) improved administration of the fledgling empire, ordering improvement of irrigation networks and playing a role in foundation of cities like Basra.

To be close to the poor, he lived in a simple mud hut without doors and walked the streets every evening. After consulting with the poor, Umar established the Bayt al-mal, a welfare institution for the Muslim and non-Muslim poor, needy, elderly, orphans, widows, and the disabled. The Bayt al-mal ran for hundreds of years under the Rashidun Caliphate in the 7th century and continued through the Umayyad period and well into the Abbasid era.

Umar also introduced child benefit for the children and pensions for the elderly. After great era of Umar (RA) , Hazrat Usman Ghani (RA) became third caliph of Islam and the last and fourth caliph of Islam nominated _SHER-E KHUDA_  Hazrat Ali (RA) And no doubt Hazrat Usman(RA) and Hazrat Ali (RA) served Islam wholeheartedly and all the four caliphs served Islam in examplary way and became role model for upcoming all human till dooms day…(SUBHAN ALLAH!)

After this golden time period of Khulafi-e-Rashidin, Umayyed Caliphate came into existence. For the better understanding I want to assure you that History of Islam can not be explained in one article only even in many books because it has long history. It would be explained in next articles as well InshAllah.

*Note*:-

As it mentions at the end of each and every article, if you find any sort of mistake as articles are based on research on part of mechanical and human error you are welcomed to inform on the mentioned email.Being a Muslim, give hands and do help regarding spreading of golden message of Islam.               *JAZAKALLAH KHAIR*

  1. I have learned some points through your blog post. One other subject I would like to say is that there are several games that you can buy which are designed particularly for preschool age youngsters. They include things like pattern acknowledgement, colors, animals, and forms. These usually focus on familiarization as an alternative to memorization. This keeps children occupied without experiencing like they are studying. Thanks
