STARTING WITH THE GREATEST NAME OF ALLAH(SWT) WHO GIVE US GIVE US AND FORGIVE US AND WE GET GET AND FORGET.
Topic for today is
I would try my best level to explain this topic from the verses of the Holy Quran.
Gratitude is a great quality.A person who is grateful what he or she has in his or her life, he or she feels more comfortable than a thankless person.We should be grateful to our LORD what we have.
Before going to explanation let me define the word Gratitude.
Definition:-“The quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness.”
As the topic “Gratitude” requires too much time for explanation but I would try to explain this important topic from every angle.
Gratitude has very important role in human psychology.How?
Let’s come to clear this angle!
ROLE OF GRATITUDE IN POSITIVE PSYCHOLOGY
As from the title it is very much cleared that Gratitude plays a key role in Psyche.
As for as the term Psychology is concerned, gratitude is the main player.When someone gives hand to another brother in issues when he finds himself stuck,now that is the turning point for a stuck person to be grateful to that beneficent.When someone pays thanks to another one,he or she feels happier and beneficent feels happy and easy and turns Mind towards positivity so now this is the positive Psychology due to which Gratitude became the master indirectly.
For the cause of above mentioned paragraph let me summarize with the discursive quotation.
“Cultivate the habit of being grateful for every good thing that comes to you, and to give thanks continuously. And because all things have contributed to your advancement, you should include all things in your gratitude.”
― Ralph Waldo Emerson.
GRATITUDE FROM THE HOLY QURAN
Our Holiest Book “The Quran”
gives us full time instructions to be greatful to the greatest LORD and the Master of whole Universe.
The LORD OF THE WORLD says in Surat-un-Namal Ayat #40.
Said one who had knowledge from the Scripture, “I will bring it to you before your glance returns to you.” And when [Solomon] saw it placed before him, he said, “This is from the favor of my Lord to test me whether I will be grateful or ungrateful. And whoever is grateful – his gratitude is only for [the benefit of] himself. And whoever is ungrateful – then indeed, my Lord is Free of need and Generous.”
ALLAH (SWT) says in Surat-ul-Baqara ayat #52
“Then We forgave you after that so perhaps you would be grateful.”
Whenever we through light on the Holy Quran, ALLAH(SWT) has given us command in different forms.
In the same Surah viz surat-ul-Baqara ayat # 56
My LORD says;
“Then We revived you after your death that perhaps you would be grateful.”
When we focus on the blessings of ALLAH (SWT) we being a Human can’t count the blessings of our ALLAH (SWT) and it is given us command that always be grateful to your MASTER.
In Surat-ul-Baqara Ayat # 152 it is said;
“So remember Me; I will remember you. And be grateful to Me and do not deny Me.”
In the same Surat ALLAH(SWT) says in Ayat #172.
“O you who have believed, eat from the good things which We have provided for you and be grateful to Allah if it is [indeed] Him that you worship.”
Those who be grateful to The LORD OF THE WORLD, he or she will be blessed a lot as in the Holy Quran….
Surat Aal-e-Imran Ayat#144
“Muhammad(SAW) is not but a messenger. [Other] messengers have passed on before him. So if he was to die or be killed, would you turn back on your heels [to unbelief]? And he who turns back on his heels will never harm Allah at all; but Allah will reward the grateful.”
In Surat-ul-Mominoon Ayat #78 ALLAH(SWT) says;
“And it is He who produced for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful.”
In surat-un-Namal Ayat # 40 ALLAH(SWT) explains two categories which are given under-mentioned;
“Said one who had knowledge from the Scripture, “I will bring it to you before your glance returns to you.” And when [Solomon] saw it placed before him, he said, “This is from the favor of my Lord to test me whether I will be grateful or ungrateful. And whoever is grateful – his gratitude is only for [the benefit of] himself. And whoever is ungrateful – then indeed, my Lord is Free of need and Generous.”
In the Holy Quran ALLAH (SWT) again explains in Surat-uz-Zumur Ayat #7;
“If you disbelieve – indeed, Allah is Free from need of you. And He does not approve for His servants disbelief. And if you are grateful, He approves it for you; and no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. Then to your Lord is your return, and He will inform you about what you used to do. Indeed, He is Knowing of that within the breasts.”
As we saw different Ayaats from the Holy Quran. We should be very much grateful to ALLAH(SWT).
As for as society is concerned, we live among people so we should take care of each other regarding every aspect.We can learn the Manners from the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad(SAW) life because HE is our Role Model.Following HIS Sunnah and principles in our life then we will be successful in this world and hereafter as well.
So dear brothers and sisters!
